Lots of people sleep in their birthday suite even in cold cold winters. In winter people use light cover with as many blanket on top. Some people even walk around in their birthday suite all the time in the privacy of their home. There are nudist colonies all over the world for people who believe in nudism.
It is mainly a habit, lots of people find it very comfortable, I believe that it may help blood circulation for many.
