Although rare, it is possible to still have periods when you are pregnant. There are cases of people going into labour without even being aware of thier pregnancy. Never the less, although I should not be too cancerned I would definately seek some medical advice. It is better to be safe than sorry and you have a child to worry about too.
Good luck!

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of the year and that is how it happened. I found out that I was pregnant and about a week or two later I started bleeding. It was really clotty. I went to the doctor and the er and they did ultra sounds and it was too late. Miscarriages are hard on the emotions. If you need someone to talk to my email is amethystrain219@yahoo.com. Feel free to email me. It has been 9 months since my miscarriage, my due date was this Saturday. It is hard, I still cry, but I am someone to talk to if you don't have anyone. Good luck and remember everything happens for a reason.

you more than likely did....about 2 weeks ago i had a miscarriage. Even though mine was really early and i didnt have clots and period wasnt heavy....i still had ones. Since then ive read a lot about miscarriages and your body is doing what is should be if you were having one....if you havent been to the doctor go and they will take blood...or if its early in the pregnancy like mine...they might do a pelvic ultrasound too..

Bleeding can happen very early in a pregnancy. Once your period has stopped do another test, also contact your GP or the local maternity hospital and ask for advice, they will ask how far on you think you are and may suggest an early detection scan, which will tell you if you are indeed pregnant.
Good luck.

Hun,you need to get yourself to a doctor. That is the only way you are accurately going to get an answer as to whether you have had a miscarriage or not, hopefully not. Some women do get their periods during pregnancies but,it isnt likely that it will be any different than before.Contact your obgyn and tell your parent(s),Guardian(s),and/or a trusted adult so that they can get you to the doctor.Good luck, and God Bless.

Go to the doctor... if you are not... make sure and get a prescription for birth control because you are even more fertile after a pregnancy than you were before. Take care of yourself.

I would get checked out, but my aunt had that problem when she was pregnant. She had it through the whole pregnancy. In the end the baby came out fine. I would go get checked since you need to anyways. Just see what they say.
