Coz you can wear them out on an all day p*ss up and not have to worry about getting in a state, falling over and tearing your new jeans, before falling flat into a huge muddy puddle and ruining your brand new shirt! ;-)

if they need persuading, then ur chasing the wrong clientelle
people who buy used clothing do so because they cant afford to buy the same quality at retail price
if ur giving them away then they obviously dont wont them and might even be offended,
you cant make people take charity

Blackmail people into it like the whole:
"eat up people starving in ethipoia"
"Finish your beer there are sober kids in Africa"
"Take these clothes because there are naked people somwhere"
other reasons depend on what the garment is: Used underwear? pop it on e-bay...

because clothes are generally over priced and if you wear seond hand, you are recycling in a sense and in a fashion sense you're more likely to be individual!

i think its cheap to buy, easy to maintain, and even longer lasting than all ready made cloaths. bicos of quality too.
