I am going there this weekend to camp and would like to know what is available (shops, cafe's, bar's etc).

I love Ardres and would particularly recommend the restaurant called 'Le Relais.' They serve traditional food at reasonable prices. The dining room is really lovely too. Enjoy your trip.

Ardres is a very little town near Calais, in the North of the France.
Near Ardres there is a place called "Le camp du Drap d'or" where François the first (french king) and the king of England VIII met in 1520 to try to avoid the war beetween their two countries. They failed.
