I can't stand all the screaming and grunting every time she hits the ball! I had to put her on mute last night.

Well I think is the TV production's fault for pointing out his annoying quirks, like last night when he was showing her a banana reminding her to eat. If I were in Sharapova's place I'd be annoyed and I fear that was the tip of the iceberg he seems to be very annoying.

I'm beginning to find Sharapova's father's daughter (yes, the beautiful Maria) quite annoying....the shrieking has gotta go.
But yes, the father comes off as a stage father, not quite as bad as some tennis parents over the years, but somewhat annoying.

He's better now. But I also don't agree with the new thing they're going to try to do - allowing players to talk to their coach. I strongly feel that once you're out on the court, you're on your own.

i do find him very annoying
i cant think of anything worse being coached by my dad - i'd end up strangling him
and he holds a banana up and suddenyl she reaches in her bag, gets out the banana and eats it?
