thev use an auto tensioner
put the belt on all the pulleys except the alternator its on top use a 15 mm wrench [it may be 13mm]
on the tensionees its under the alternator while pushing it down flip the belt on the alternator
pros use a long wrench with a angle at the botton $50
you may need 2 people as the bolt is hard to get to
it can be reached from undreneath also

briansmobile is correct, but you can buy a serpintine belt wrench to make the job a lot easier. Might even rent one from Auto Zone
