Haven't got it yet, do i go for PC or PS2 versions?
I looked on the box of the pc version and it says Half life 2 Episode 1, does that mean there is more than one part to buy?

Well, for mods alone, it's much better to get this kind of game on the PC. but other than that, I find the controls are more precise for PC anyway, and the flexibility is not to be ignored.
And well... it's a little weird, but HL2, episode one actually FOLLOWS Half Life 2. I think it was supposed to be called Half Life 2 Aftermath, episode 1. It's really the first part of what happens after HL2. It's so worth getting HL2 anyway, though. Great shooter, great story, cinematic sequences. you'll love it!

Yup, go for the PC version - WAAAYYY better in every respect!
'Half-Life 2 Episode 2' will be out in a few months.

Get the pc version. You do not need to purchase it in a shop as it is available to be purchased and downloaded through Steam. The CD/DVD version just installs steam with the files pre-installed instead of downloaded. Episode 1 is extra content released earlier this year.

Don?t use the same tactic to your enemies because they won?t have the same qualities. You have to think which one fixes better and then try to eliminate them.

PS2 version is likely to be missing detail in the models, textures and level design.
