football players who play these days wouldnt be able cope playing on the muddy and sandy pitches,as they were in the 1970s,thats when football was about winning and not about money.what do other people on answers think.

yes i quite agree with you it is all about the money,i remember having a lesson when i was in school one of the teachers brought there grandads old style football in they told us how hard it was to kick them when it rained because it socked all the water up,and the leather was very hard not the soft leather that it is today,footballers don't know there born today years ago was football today it's all about the money and the violence for most of the fans {not all}

have seen a couple of 80s game including the 1986 FA cup final but it looks a good channell to see some proper get stuck in football

YES! i watched brighton (best team) v man u playing in the final of FA cup 1983. loved it! and yeah footballers get paid far too much but you have to remember how many people they entertain on a weekly basis.

I am in total agreement with you. Athletes put too much on the money end and not enough on the joy and winning of the sport.

i watched a man utd vs chelsea game the other night, fantastic. thats win players really earned there cash.
