My husband and I are able to talk about anything. We have fun together and we have an awesome sex life. We are best friends and soul mates.

Patience, kindness, the ability to see a situation from another's point of view, and to treat another as you would like to be treated

If you're partner has all those things, and you do too, you have everything you need to create a harmonious relationship that will last the rest of your life.

Honesty and integrity. Compatibility for sure. Ambition and drive in life...overall a zest for life. Someone who can listen to you and let you cry on their shoulder when you need to. Someone who accepts you for you, flaws and all. A good spouse is a giver...they want to make you happy. They are trustworthy. They are a team-player, willing to compromise when needed, make sacrifices for the both of you...willing to do what it takes to make your life what you want it to be. A good life partner is someone willing to hop aboard and take the long-trip with you till the end....they're there for you when you need them, they work to reach your goals alongside you, they contribute what they can to the relationship and they stand beside you through hard times and good. This is what I feel a good spouse is.

I know I want a partner. I am so not the cook nor cleaning lady and I don't mind doing it but I don't want it labeled as my job. I think when two people equally share responsibilities in a relationship and act as a team it makes a big difference.

with my husband the best thing is that he is there for me when I need him. He never makes me feel like he is better then me or below him. He also knows that sometimes things are going to get tough and knows that is when you stay to fight for what you have. He proved that when he almost lost me and our child during childbirth. He is also a great dad.

communication and honesty cause if you can tell someone for example I'm not happy and the person hears that and can say to you well I'm not gonna change that can give you the option of staying or leaving and they didnt lie to you and tell you I'm gonna change and you are still arguing about it months later

A good listener, a good communicator, and sensitive to your concerns. You can learn to love anyone, but you dont always like them. Most important factor.... do you like that person. He/ or she should be your best friend.. Not best lover..
