City of Angels- I wouldn't have her die at the end. He had already been through enough to be with her, let them be together. Unfortunatly, this was around the same time period when Titanic made it "cool" to kill off the love interest and main characters. It would have been nice to see them happy together.

A.I. - I sat through that whole movie gradually getting more and more depressed as that little boy suffered just when you think they might just have a light at the end of such a tragedy.......BOOM sorry cute little robot boy but you get exactly NO TIME with the only person you ever loved and then he falls asleep.....That is just wrong on so many levels...I'm not sure How I would end it but for Gawds sake give the kid a puppy or something.....

Has to be Titanic where they dont hit an iceberg, Everyone survives and the Titanic completes its maiden voyage.
(A soon to be released movie in UK) The World Trade Centre - the hijackers get nervous and decide to let the planes reach their destination, all passengers arrive safe and well and no-one gets hurt and the towers still stand (happy ever after)
(I am sorry if my WTC caption upsets anyone and my deapest sympathies still go out to all of those in the US that did lose loved ones on 9/11)

OK I'm so sick of hearing all this crap, all these great non-Hollywood endings they you all want to change. OK listen really closely it's not about what is cool or hot in Hollywood it's about making it more like real life. When huge ships hit ice burgs, people die that's what happens, O.K. When firemen go into fires, some times they don't all come out plan and simple. And, sometimes, just sometimes people make great sacrifices for someone they really really love and something happens to that person and they die. People die that's the way it is. If you want to only watch nice little happy endings then by all means sit in your little fantasy worlds and watch the same 10 or 20 stupid Hollywood ending crap over and over again. Oh and by the way if i could changed the ending of some movies i would make them more non-Hollywood. Like how about at the end of War of the Worlds Tom Cruise's son dies instead of him being at his mom's house in the end. Or, how about that stupid ending of Signs where the aliens only weakness is water and they come to a planet that is like 75 or 80 % covered by water. How about them for a couple of stupid endings that need a overhaul.

Miami Vice.
The shootout in the end was too sparse and uneventful. Although it was shot very well, I would've preferred a more claustrophobic location as opposed to a more open space fire fight. In fact, the locations where they originaly were shooting (South America) was so intense, that Micheal Mann was ordered by the studio to switch locations, for saftey concerns of actors and crew.

I would also change the ending to The Titanic. I would make the ending the beginning so no-one else has ever to suffer it!

Open Water. They wouldn't have died, just been badly mangled. Just as the shark rips off the woman's leg, the boat arrives and they are whisked away to safety. The husband, still unconscious falls into a coma and wakes up to find both his legs amputated and his once beautiful wife with shark tooth marks in her scull:) Still better than both of them dying, or is it?

Artificial Intelligence.
I would make the ending a happier one such as David getting his wish granted by some unknown force in the universe.
