My mother lives with me and this morning I went to take my daughter to school and she said she wanted to go too. And I was just so furious at her...like she was intruding on my time with my child on her second day of kingergarten.

And then when we got back home, I put in some cinnimon rolls and then went to take bath and by the time I got out she had them all frosted and on a plate and the pan washed. I was so mad, that I just started crying. I felt like a little kid like I couldn't even finish something with out her stepping in.

She is absolutely driving me insane.

Is it normal to have these crazy mood swings?

Yes, it is normal. I cried a lot and also found myself getting irritated at things that wouldn't normally bother me. As much as we love our moms, they can drive us crazy without adding pregnancy or living together. God bless you for taking it as well as you are.

Maybe you should have a talk with her and be honest and tell her your hormones are out of wack right now and you find yourself getting upset at things you normally wouldn't, so could she give you some space.

It's normal to want to spend some alone time with your daughter, especially since you will have to divide your time once the baby comes. And you're in the nesting phase, so of course you want to do things around your house - whether it be cleaning or baking for your family. Your mom should understand that. Give her the benefit of the doubt. Good luck!

Don't worry its normal. I'm 38 weeks and I'm so bad that my managers send me home from work at 6. They're afraid I may yell at the wrong customer.
