depends on the way that you build web pages. if you like a visual editor then nvu is good.
if you like coding things yourself then vim is very powerful.
As for best web design company. Well that depends on what you are looking for. Best way to find out is to find a website you like and then find out who is behind it.

I use DreamWeaver. DW is easy to use and fast. You can download DW from macromedia's site for free (for a 30 day trail) to see how it works.

U can use FRONT PAGE, dream waver and so onnnnn. This is comewith MS OFFICE(only front page).
