why when Italy won everyone started to say that we cheated (when we had even cancelled a valid goal by Toni) and when France won no one is talking about the clear offside in the first goal??
i mean...this is not an excuse...you deserved to win and you would have won also without that goal because you played better...but no one talks about that... while when we won and we deserved everyone said we cheated when WE DID NOTHING. That's strange.

against australia the penalty was not clear and if there was no penalty it's the referee's fault, not ours. In that match we got also a red card to Materazzi because he kicked Zambrotta!!!!!! have u seen that????? That referee didnt even know the rules...and tell me WHEN and WHERE we cheated...i've seen all the matches twice...so when did we cheat?????

Ok I watched all the Italian games more then 9 times and I mean literally more then 9 times (cause I have rogers and they have the world cup games on still) and that penalty against Australia the ref was a bozo it's not our fault that he called it. I think the Italians played very good in all their games.
As for the offside goal on France I think that was a big mistake from the ref, and that should have been called, so for that I think the ref was biased at times. All the complaining about the Italians winning the world cup (the french were so rude about it) and now that they won the game against us Italians we are not being rude and disrespectful saying all crap. Believe me there are I lot I have to say about that game. Well said and zizou_rocks you are such a disrespectful person.

Do you really want to know why Italians aren't talking about:
1. Offside foul on 1st goal
2. At 28', cross from Grosso, Coupet save close to posts line, Semioli is fouled from Abidal.
3. Almost 3 wrong offside foul calls in the 1st half.
4. Yellow card to Gilardino, 64' (Coupet catch his ankle, but Gila had the ball too long - no penalty and not yellow card in my opinion). At 66', Buffon catch a low ball and Malouda dives without contact. No yellow. (right yellow in my opinion)
and many lesser other, and something I - as well as many other Italian - forget?
Because those facts were DEFINITIVELY USELESS to explain why France was winning. It was an highly unbalaced match, all Italians know this. French played so far better. Double speed. On every single ball there were 2-3 French and 1 tired, slow Italian. Italy did basic mistakes - unmarked French forwards on the wings, lots of wasted balls with useless long passing. In both the last two match Donadoni asked many times to have defenders and midfielders playing more close, no one heard, are they deaf?
So, if Italy would catch an undeserved tie at 28', who cares? France was so far better playing, they should quickly score another goal.
Why stay hidden? To lie? To avoid congratulating the best ones? To blame others? To blame ref? To speak about cheating? Sure we love Azzurri, it won't be a lost match to make us fools.
Of course, I want to speak about Italians only. I'm proud of the poster on this forum. We are definitively winning the fair-play match. Sore losers are bad winners.

I would say Italy deserved the WC trophy..so congratulations for being the champion of the world..I believe that only the best team wins although sometimes the result can be such a shock but then,like the tag line of Nike, "impossible is nothing"..so I think Italy deserved the WC trophy and my beloved country deserved the victory for that match..somehow,congrats to both team..both played well..

Yes we won fair and square the refree cant make goals go in and the italian players arent robots their really human! and their that talented and they worked hard to win! so they totally deserved to win! no matter what the french say!! Italy did not cheat!
(about the australian penalty)
Grosso said, "I tried to avoid contact, I got past one defender but then my leg got stuck in between the other defender's legs and I had no option but to go down. My aim was to go all the way".
that was the referee's call for a penalty! so blame the ref!

At 28:00, in front of Coupet's goal, Abidal is getting up and Semioli gets caught in Abidal's feet and fall.
At 63:00, in front of Coupet's goal, Gilardino dragged his foot onto Coupet's arms and fall.
