How do you know they are veins and not arteries. Veins drain the blood from your penis back to your heart.........

Some guys have visible veins on their erect penis, others may but they don't show as much. It could be along the shaft or to one side near the base of the head. Visible veins or no, it's not a concern. Guys may have small or larger penis heads, thickness, curved and of course length. In any case we have a penis and it does what its supposed to do giving us a tremendous amount of pleasure! Enjoy, use it until you lose it!

EVERYBODY has a thick main artery running along the shaft of the penis. In intact men, this artery branches out and provides rich blood flow to the foreskin, but in genitally mutilated men this artery is amputated near the head of the penis. In any event, while all men have this thick artery, it is not as visible in every penis. The thickness of the skin that covers the vein, the presence of fat between the vein and the skin, and the location of the vein itself will all affect the visibility of it. It is nothing to worry about. Some women report that the presence of thick veins increases pleasure.

How thick? Every penis is designed to be filled with blood so you can get an erection. That is why people make jokes about guys losing their ability to think when they get hard. But, unless the vein is larger than the penis, you probably don't have anything to worry about. Email me privately for more information.

It is thick so it will work properly. When a male gets aroused all the blood from the brain goes rushng to the penis and fills it up.

first off, have you asked your doctor?
secondly... your penis fills with blood when it's 'happy' so it needs a blood supply, hence, the vein. Have you heard of the term "Drain the main vein"? :)
