If anyone actually ever listened to the song they would hear what he wouldn't do.
Heere are the direct quotes from the song lyrics that say exactly what he won't do.........

It's the thing that he says at the end of each verse. He explains this on the Storytellers album. For example, "But I'll never stop dreaming of you every day of my life........ I will do anything for love, but I won't do that", etc. Does this make sense now?

I've heard that question so many times it was even put to meatloaf himself once on the big breakfast .(he didn't answer and I'm suprised he didn't walk off)

he wont, he absolutley will not cut the lawn in just his socks.
luckily, she doesn't want him to so it's not really a problem.
