Did you Select to make an AUDIO CD or DATA CD?, try again selecting AUDIO CD and Nero will convert the songs so it will work in your cd player.

Your stereo probably doesnt support the type of cd you are trying to play.
I am guessing its a cdrw, which means cd re writable. You need to get the type named cdr.
I bet it will work on a dvd player too? If so its because it supports cdrw files.
Also check that you burned a cd and not an mp3 disc. Again pc's will pick this format up as will dvd players and some stereos that support that function.

sounds like (excuse the pun) the cd is either bieng burnt as a Data CD ( would still allow the file be played on ur pc) or u are burning onto a CD-RW that is not able to be read by ur stereo.

That can often happen if you have not finished the CD correctly.
Try finishing it then it should play. I had several problems with Nero as it wasn't finishing it to play in all media

a million. verify the CDs have compatibility with the document varieties (IE mp3 information bypass on CD-Rs). 2. verify the document varieties have compatibility with the CDs (IE i do no longer think of .M4A information may well be burned to a CD). are not getting WMP 11. you may besides basically delete Widows Media participant altogether in case you're thinking of it.
