both meebo and yahoomessenger are blocked in our college

u can't chat without a messenger but u can send mails if u have an e-mail account

Not if the college has the ports closed. (And that is the standard way to block those - and all - chat programs). They do that for several reasons:
1) bandwidth - one person chatting is the same as about 15-20 regular users on a network
2) opens their system to viruses and hackers
3) should you harrass someone in a chat using the school's computer the school could be held criminally liable or sued
4) should you share child porn, etc., or try to pick up a minor over chat using the school's computers, the school could be held criminally liable or sued
(Need I go on)
So please respect their rights to protect themselves and you from viruses. law suites, etc. and do not attempt to hack around their system. Plus, you could be dismissed from school or even face civil or criminal charges for do it. (I have seen it happen more than once - so just a warning)

If MS hot mail messenger is not blocked ,Get the lastest version and start chatting with friends having yahoo too!

do you have access to AOL messenger or MSN messenger, also pal talk has a messenger those are 3 others,also theres a "myspace.com" you have to be a memeber of it also has messenger and your friends also have it...

Maybe you can try to be on line in email at the sametime so you guys can email to each other at the sametime!

get all your friends to switch to google. gmail has a live messaging system that only requires the website and works really well.

Download msn...and then send them an email in order to add them in your msn account!Then u can talk with them if they also have msn!
