This is a tough choice for a very good question.

I believe I would choose Mary the mother of God. I think she could explain to me what the true message of Jesus Christ was meant to be, while Jesus himself might give me a parable that would take a lifetime to understand.

I also would want to ask Mother Mary about what she thinks about modern religion, what I can do as one person, and how I could communicate whatever she told me to other people who are interested.

There are plenty to choose from!

One answer is Jesus Christ. Apart from his religious importance, and obvious significance if you believe He is God's Only Son, there are an awful lot of things in the New Testament which people today would understand better if they could meet Jesus Christ the historical individual.

I'd meet Hitler and ask him how he manipulated millions of otherwise rational people into going along with his evil, insane and f**ked up agenda so I could recognize and fight against anybody who tries to do the same thing again.
