In World of Warcraft, what should I auction off the butcher for?

Its a very rare drop in scarlet monestary and i got it but i want to sell it. what should i make the price? I've heard anywhere from 40-120g?

I want it to be a price that someone would buy it for, nothing outrageous please.

depends on the server. Go get the add on 'auctioneer' and do some searching over three or four days then see what is the best prices you see from that. its a great add on but get it only from a reputable site (like one that WOW recommends)

When trying to Auction something I go to teh AH and look up the item to see if it is available and what the going price is. I usually TRY to undercut the prices, adn have noticed people on Lightbringer trying to sell stuff at really outragous prices, but I will usually drop my prices by 1g per 10 asking

It really does depend on your server's economy. On a brand new server, I sold one for 115g, and it was bought out within a few hours of listing it. However, I've seen them up for closer to 40g on other servers where low level blues aren't as needed/important.

I would check your auction house's prices. What do low level blues go for on your server? It's worth a good chunk of change, if you just do your homework! :)

I don't play anymore but please take the first posters advice and get the auctioneer addon, it makes your life so much easier. Damn that game.... it pisses me off, it's soooo... addicting. Seriously though get that addon. I really don't know if I'll be able to stop myself from resubscribing once the expansion comes out. Man the new talent trees look oh so very sweet.
