Cramps? What?

I read in someone elses question/answer that "cramps" were a sign of being pregnant is that true?

Cramping can be a sign of implantation, which occurs very early in pregnancy. Also, your uterus gets crampy as things start growing! If your period is late, it's time to test.

cramps are a sign of gas, bad food, tummy bugs, period cramps, ovulation,diarrhoea,appendix,Irritable bowel syndrome,Lactose intolerance,Urinary tract infections, miscarraige, or pregnancy. But just because u may have cramps don't assume ur pregnant coz these are only a few causes of tummy cramps. but yes tummy cramps are normal during the first and early 2nd trimester or pregnancy caused by the utuers expanding, and for the person above cramps are a huge sign of pregnancy if u ever get pregnant u'll know or if u where a REAL doc as u say u are a doctor u would also know ur oviously a "pretend" doctor

Cramps can be a sign of being pregnancy but i have heard it said that the cramps feel different to a normal period cramp.

yes some people get cramps. when first found out with my third baby. i was cramping a little and all my friends told me to be care-full. that is a bad sign in your first part of pregnancy

Cramps are not a sign of pregnancy. Signs of pregnancy are: Missed mensrual period nausea, extreme fatigue, frequent urination, tender breasts, headache, heartburn, constipation, spotting, feeling faint.

yes and a sign of ur period coming but u can usually tell the diffrence they feel diffrent when its pregnancy

i had cramp but not till later on in pregnacy but everyone is diferent so maybe.
