Pluto is a domestic pet, while Goofy is a dog with a job and a house. Since they live in the same cartoon universe this means that Pluto is being enslaved by Mickey while Goofy is considered a 'free dog'. This is a message of discrimination on Disney's part. Has anyone in the past criticized this?

Not slavery, only story devices.

Pluto gets more money than Goofy when the royalties are paid out. This is because Pluto is named after the philosopher who was gay. And we all know that Walt was a homosexual pedophile. So I don't think Pluto being Mickey Mouse's dog has anything to do with slavery.
