I could turn my air conditioner off and i will soon, but my question is this. When its too cool outside for the air conditioner to work but the fan keeps running does that reduce the Oxygen in the room.

My fam and I felt strange the other day when it was still running and it was too cool to be cooling, we felt the Oxygen was reduced and had a hard time breathing and was feeling tired.

No, An AC unit is only moving heat from one part of a coil (inside) to another part (outside). It uses compressed gas inside the coils to do this.

The gas should not be a concern either because if there was a leak in the gas it would no longer be cooling.

Hope you figure this out.

No that's not possible. it is very possible that the airconditioner has picked up bacteria like Legionaires disease or that something else was reducing the oxygen in the room. It sounds more likely howeve that you have a carbon monoxide problem. You should get a detector at a hardward store since it can be fatal.

Nope, has to be something else....you are describing the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning. That is the result of an malfunctioning furnace/heater. (That uses fuel oil, gas, etc..)
Was there a running vehicle outside the AC unit? Is the AC near a exhaust pipe for a gas cook stove?
