Sadly, our townhouse is adjacent to two girls in their early 20's that enjoy being loud, obnoxious, ignorant, and most disappointingly, inconsiderate.
Last night (Wednesday - who the hell parties on a freaking Wednesday night?) was one of many nights were they brought their boyfriends of the week over for drinking and/or smoking weed. They're extremely loud, even when they close the windows, etc. We have a baby, and this causes him to have a terrible night's sleep if he gets any at all. If they have their kitchen window open, we can hear everything louder and clearer from the baby monitor. That is just not right. Unfortunately, they're so trashed by the morning that air horns etc are of no use.
What can we do (to their cars maybe?) while they're partying or afterwards to get back? I'm thinking subtle, clever, and funny things like putting a rainbow sticker on their bumper (they are the type of girls that would be extremely offended by this).
What are your suggestions?

I'm not comfortable with going over and telling 4 drunk and high people to keep it down, there are a lot of violent possibilities there. It shouldn't be necessary for me to risk my well-being for their foolishness. We've mentioned it on several 'days after' and the next night they're ready for a party they forget all about it. And they are not phased by us calling the cops.

Also, the landlord does nothing, he just says to call the police. In PA, all the police can do is give you a warning. Warnings don't work for these people.
Eventually, my husband may take over the property management next year, and at that time we can hopefully threaten to end their lease if they don't calm down. Until then, I'm feeling very mischievous.
FYI - they have enough angry boyfriends (high turnover rate) that they would never find out it was us.

Does no one have an imagination here? So what if getting back at these girls is against the law. The girls themselves have already broken the law so many times that these poor people have lost count. Now let's have some fun with this....
We want to annoy them, maybe give them a bit of hard work, but not do anything that will be permanent, so how about:
Leaving eggs out on the counter for a month to let them get REALLY rotten, and then using them as missiles against the girls when they emerge from one of their party nights? The smell of rotten eggs is so disgusting that it will probably make them throw up.
Poster paint their windshields. Now, I did specify poster paint, which remains washable even after it fully dries. I just requires water and soap and a lot of elbow grease to clean up. And DON'T lend them the hose or bucket to do the cleaning! Also extremely annoying in that they will not be able to drive away until it's done.
Water balloons launched through their bedroom windows. And maybe replacing the water with tomato paste to make the resultant mess look bloody. Again, no permanent damage, but requiring elbow grease and soap and water to clean up.
Are there parking regulations that they may be breaking? How about calling the parking authority to get their car tires booted? Or at least get tickets written?
That's about all I can think of that has a somewhat fun quality to it, but isn't necessarily destructive.

If you have already talked with the girls and gotten no response, there are several ways to proceed. If they are renters, talk with the landlord and provide the landlord with the information you have here, and request that the landlord intervene. Their rental/lease agreement most likely has a peaceful enjoyment clause in it. Whether they own the property, the the city/town/state probably has a ordinance/law concerning loud parties, especially after 9 pm. In this case, calling the local law enforcement authorities for the party disturbing the peace, is the appropriate thing to do. By the wording of your own rental/lease/Deed you have the right to peacefully enjoy your home. If the above actions do not help, you have only 2 choices: Move to another place, or sue the two girls for disturbing the enjoyment of your home. If your townhouse is in an owners association, take your concerns to the owners association council for action.
Your taking actions like putting stickers on their car could get you in trouble with the law for vandalism or other charge.

One you should be old enough and more mature to not resort to chidlish things like "putting rainbow stickers on their cars" or anything else. Why dont you simply call the cops and have them deal with them? Or if they dont own the place talk to their landlord about it. Or just go over there and talk to them about it. (most of the time it dont work but sometimes it will) Anything you do to their car's they can get you for destorying their personal property. Yes even as much as a sticker on their car. (Most states that wont hold up in court but some will allow it.)

Babies are barometers for our own feelings. So you might be projecting ur own stress on him. Take legal action. Do they own the house or are they renters? Contact the property owner or management company. Document your allegations. Photo, videotape, tape record. Take evidence to police department and file complaint. Especially if drugs are involved.

don't take this on yourself. Call the police, the landlords, the neighborhood board, etc. After enough complaints, they will either need to change, or they will have to move.
On the other hand, maybe you should join them. Skanks need friends too!

You need to ask them to keep the noise down, just sau that it is disturbing the baby, then if they dont do it legally, contact the coucil, get a noise abatement order, contact their landlord.

does your neighborhood have security or is their a law in your area against public disturbance? Next time they do that call your local police and that will give them serious warning.

Can you get me an invitation to one of their parties?
But seriously, there are lots of things.....
Buy an incredibly offensive porn magazine, or several for that matter, take out the little subscription flyers, fill them out with the option to "bill me later". do that for any magazine, it is incredibly painful to call and cancel these things.

i don't mean to support violence or violating laws but, there are many ways to make them change their ways. unless they are insomniacs, get back at them while they are in a drunken sleeping state. get a loud car or something to bother them.
