Well, first, a quantifier. You should ask "Why are SOME men obsessed with anal???" Not all are. I for one am not. And if you have read at least 10 questions, think then of the hundreds of thousands who have done it with no problems.
Now, why are men obsessed with anal??? ... why do people obsess with anything? It is simply a personal craving. I obsess over honey buns (as opposed to sticky buns, which may be related to your question) and have the waistline to prove it. Others obsess over cars, some obsess over how many sexual partners they can lay conquest to. And while one person may obsess with it, their partner might find it either oppressive or repulsive. To each their own.
