Hello

I have 2 large lists of ip addresses like this

125.245.19.253
125.63.70.4
131.171.46.254
148.233.184.205
159.148.229.4
163.28.146.2
193.95.103.190

I am searching a way to find for ip addresses duplicates between my 2 lists..
Which is the best and fast way to do that ?

Thank you!

I wish to remove duplicates from list 2 (already on list 1)! The list is LARGE so I need an automatic way to do that .

Classic list processing problem. Do you want to know how many duplicates, or do you want them removed, and from which list?

If the lists are large, a program is easiest, but you might manage with a spreadsheet.

Put ip address is column 1, some indicator what list it came from in column 2. Sort by column 1, look for duplicates.

An easy way to look for duplicate IP addresses is to copy and paste all the addresses into an Excel spreadsheet or similar spreadsheet and sort in ascending or descending order. This way you can go through and just delete the ones that are duplicates.
