This defeat of urs proved that u people won the WC 2006 by mere luck and unfairness.Winning the WC doesnt make u the best team in the world.If u are really the world champz , then u gotta prove that it in EVERY game of urs.France proved that we r better than u coz we won yesterday, that too not on penalty shoot outs.You won the WC 2006 trophy but that doesnt prove anything.First of all Matarazii had tainted ur victory by his foolish acts.Now defeat by France and Croatia and tie with Lithuania proves that LES BLEUS ROCKS!!!

i feel for you, girl. we're all fiercely loyal to our team and zizou, and we know all about the wc and who should have walked away with the prize. but having said that, i guess maybe for now we can focus on how well france has been doing in their last outings, at least until some clowns here try out their stupid tricks, then we deal..lol....french supporters have every reason to gloat -successive thrashings of 2 wc winners in a span of 3 months!!!? (oops!).. no cheap wins there, i tell you. but with stats like these, we don't really need a trophy so i think we can afford to chill for just a little bit. : )

I agree. Yesterday (and for next months, I guess) France was so far better than Italy. They were running double speed. Italians were tired and unfocused. The match could have a more square win. Don't know if those are excuses, this is what I watch clearly on TV. Today media are close to this report.

Disagree. No one team ever won EVERY match. Do you guess USA aren't so far the world best team in basketball because they lost 1 match in WC, with a final 3rd place? Do you guess the ghostly Brazil we saw this WC was a lesser team or an unbalanced one? Anyway, if you are sure the best playing team is deserving to win a competition, let's award Germany this WC. They had ALL great match. What's about France? You forget The Powerful Switzerland? The Mighty South Korea? Yahoo-FIFA poll with France awarded as greatest delusion after stage1? Final FIFA polls about the most entertaining team who awarded Portugal and Italy, with France so far away?
A suggestion only - if you care - think twice. Football isn't ONLY SUPPORTING, if you really like 'the beautiful game', let's share opinions. It's a GREAT game, filled with challenge, unpredictable results, great plays, tactical masterworks... besides who are you supporting...

C'mon. One loss doesnt mean anything to either Italy or France. They are both great teams. France proved that when they beat Italy, now soon Italy will play better and get back to their winning ways agn.

Hi, I'm not Italian, but the French team is not all that great and were very lucky to make it to the final. They should've been knocked out first round like the last WC. Zidane plays dirty no matter what, it was about time that he was sent off because he pulled a lot of unethical moves in the other games.

The French team did not deserve to win the World Cup... nor did the Italians... but the only impressive sides in the World Cup got knocked out earlier on... Argentina (best team performance, 6-0 vs Serbia/Montenegro) got scared when they took the lead... Spain (4-0 vs Ukraine) always go out too early for a team of their talents, and Holland got out-kicked, out-dived and out-whinged out of the competition by a mediocre Portugal side... and Brazil, who on paper looked the best team, never found any sort of rhythm...
