well in england pregnancy gives you rights to compensation
this is time off and pay durring it if you give up now you whont get it.
if you told your bos being fired with agression is discrimination.
but as i say a bos can be understanding but under law thay have to be as well.
just remember that if you would like a good referance be nice and work well.
so you whont be asked to lift a box for example..
chers hope it looks like galager or cris ubank , wink

you could just go home and not give the reason for feeling sick, its just normal morning sickness, but it isnt going to go away for a few weeks yet so id just hang in there. try nibbling on some dry toast or ginger biscuits, when you get up, and make sure you take multivitamins for pregnant women, with iron and folic acid. you will feel tired too as your body is working so hard. get plenty of rest this evening, and dont do anything at work that could put your baby at risk, it isnt worth it.
once your nausea passes at around 16 weeks or so, you ll feel much better...hope you have a good pregnancy and good luck for the future. im a mum of 8...been there done that got several tshirts lol.

Its up to you - I stayed off during my first three months because my sickness was really bad - lasting all day every day and it was too bad to work with (I work in a call centre).
You can't get penalised for taking any time off sick for pregnancy related reasons - its against the law.
If I was you I'd tell your boss and just go home. You don't get extra points for being a martyr no matter what other women may say!!

it is quite normal tio feel sick and also very tierd upto around 12-16 weeks of pregnancy due to the huge hormonal changes until youyr body adapts to the new life growing inside if you feel so unwell weatther you get paid or not i would suggest going home and putting your feet up having a rest in the long run your body is telling you you need to rest it is not worth the risk of being tierd and becoming clumsy because you are tierd and maybe having an accident i have had 5 kids so talk from experience

Go home if its that bad and take care of yourself. When I would get really sick at work I would usually just need to throw up. Then I was back to work like nothing had ever happened. I've only gone home once during my preg. and that was because I passed out. Now I'm 38 weeks and can barely move (I work in retail, alot of running around) and I'm still working.

I worked (sick and all) until 2 days before I had my oldest. And I worked until I went into labor with my youngest. Eat crackers, the sick feeling will subside, but if that bad you have to ask a question on here, then go home.

i a think that as you are carrying around another human being inside you and your boss isn't then you should go home, make a cup of tea, grab a magazine, put your feet up and just chill out while you still can as soon you won't be able to as much becoz there will be your son or daughter doing that.
