Has anyone ever worked for a homeworking company that has worked and also returned a good level of pay each month say £1500.

There are many companies that would allow you to work from home, and also pay you a good rate. There are also many companies who run pyramid-like scams that say you will work 20 hours per week and earn £500-£2500 per week.
You are more than welcome to give those a go, please find the following as warning signs for operations that are likely to be illegitimate:

1. You are requested to pay in order to be allowed to work.
2. You will need to buy some stock and shift it.
3. Your income will depend on the amount of people you will get to work under you.
4. You will be requested to clear cheques into bank accounts.
5. You will not be given a contract.
6. You will not be given a payslip.

Good Luck!

No. Be very careful, one company told me I would earn £600 a month, but the work they sent me was only worth £100.

Yes it does exist !
Try this site... If you don't like it, well at least it doesn't cost you anything to join ! I make about 2000$ a week.
