How do you use a Knife?

u take the sharp end and pass the sharp end over ur wrist. then do the same to other wrist. this will let u know how sharp the knife is. let me know how it works out!!!!!

Depends on the knife but it should have a good balance between the blade and the handle.
A flexible blade if it is a filleting knife or a solid think blade for a boning knife.
Grip the knife handle about 1/2 inch down the blade as this will give you maximim leverage.
If you use your free hand as a guide and pull you fingers back to show only you knuckles you can draw this back along the food and follow with the knife as this way you can judge the cut size you require
