If you are talking about a normal small handy domestic water filter then i believe that Brita are great, they make the water taste really refreshing and one cartridge lasts four weeks, you can buy the filter and cartridges from almost anywhere. I have one and i could not be without it now. I live in a heavy hard water area and the water now is so clear and fresh.

Brita is the best. If u r living in the UK no problem, but cartridges of the Brita r so expensive outside the UK, also in Turkey.

no i dont know as we have an american fridge and use an automic filter!
