That's a difficult question. If I absolutely had to choose, I would say prose. While there is nothing more beautiful and captivating than a good poem, there is nothing more cringingly embarrassing than a bad one. Prose is far more forgiving. And if someone has already said that, I apologise for being repetitve.

I can't decide, I love poetry, but I love prose too. I just love words.

There is nothing like reading a good book and getting totally absorbed.

Poetry can be so emotive in a relatively short time. My two favourite poems are The Owl and the Pussycat and Byron's From Anacreon.

Poetry , as it deals with the heart, whereas prose is more of the head.

Prose. I'm not a big poet, but I love writing. Prose is a much better outlet for me.

poetry has a natural rhytm to it, invokes more feeling, prose engage the head more...

i like poetry, i like it's subtlety, it's design, it's rhythm :)
