best way to get rid of acne?

anyone have a 'home remedy' for getting rid of acne? I've tried the toothpaste on a bandaid over night, stridex, clearasil, and a few others, but i have yet to find a good one. Anyone know of a good home made one, or a store bought one that is reasonable (less than $20 for a tube or whatever)?

Noxzema Classic Clean Original Deep Cleansing Cream. Super inexpensive, at pretty much every drugstore, and it can be used as a cleanser or an overnight mask. I swear by it, it completely cleared up my adult and cystic acne.
