I just found out my husband who I've been married to for 1 1/2 months is a convicted felon. He has plead guilty to 4 different felonies including fraud, and forgery. He served jail time. He is in jail after being pulled over and a warrant for nsf being out. Should I leave or try to give it a chance?

When you got married you said for better or worst. OR i am assuming you said that. This counts as one of the "worst" times.

I think you should stick with him as long as he is no longer comitting felonies. If he is being held on something he did in the past, stick it out with him. It sounds like he has gotten his act together but something from his past came back to haunt him.

Fraud and forgery, and what else? I would not be able to trust this man, what if he is a con man and that is why he never told you? Maybe he was planning on robbing you blind! Just because he never told you this, it is still a lie! I married my husband and found out afterwards that he has two kids that he has to pay child support for! If I knew that I wouldn't of married him. This is deffinetly a break in the trust you thought you had with this man. I think that he will just end up bringing you down with him in financial situations. You have to talk with him and then follow your instincts, just be very careful and don't be nieve in your decision.

for better or for worse right? no you should stand by him bail him out then discuss your issues, more than 10% of the population in the us have served time, another 25% have been on probation, thats 35% so its not rare.

Before you jump to conclusions, talk to him. Marriage is suppose to be for better or worse (most people forget that), so before you run for the hills, ask him what happened. You're suppose to know him better than anyone else, so you should be able to tell if he's bullsh*tting you. After your talk, then make your decision.

well was it all old news or has he been doing it with you around? he ever directly lie about it to you? he off apologies and promise to change? tell him to fess up to it all to you and see if he'll turn a leaf and get help and then you decide if you care enough BUT he has to go first

Next time you marry you need to get a background check.

sounds like he has a lot of explaining to do... give him a chance, and if you are unhappy with his conduct, and he isn't willing to change his ways, then get a divorce!!!
