ANT KILLER 2:
1 or 2 cups of grits
I am from South Georgia, and in the South we have "fire ants." You could go out and buy expensive ant killers but they are very harmful to children and pets. Instead this method works great. All you need is something you may have in your kitchen: Grits. just take (1 or 2 Cups) of GRITS, and sprinkle them around the ants mound in the yard. When ants see food, they immediately tell everyone in the colony and then start working to feed the colony. An ant's body is made almost entirely of water. Grits are food that soak up water. When an ant eats these grits, his body gets dehydrated, then the ants die.

You need to find the box from the ant poison and contact the company. You can also call poison control but you will need the box anyway for the active ingredients. Some of them are not as bad as others but unless you find out, I would take her to the vet. These poisons do not always produce signs of an illness until it is too late. They start on the insides of the dog and once you notice the dog is ill, it is usually too late.

The best poison for any ant is red chile powder or anything else that is very hot and spicy. Ants do not like it and its safe to use around kid and pets.

Do you have oatmeal in India. Uncooked oatmeal spread on the nest of the ants will kill them. They eat it and upon contact with their internal juices it expands, blowing up their stomachs so to speak. Sounds cruel, but it is non-toxic. They will also take this food source to the queen ant.

An alternative to poison which may be easier for you to find is cayenne pepper. Find the entry points that the ants are using to gain access to your house and sprinkle cayenne pepper around the openings.

Well I'll not suggest you for going as far as a poison. While cleaning your room with water, mix some kerosine oil, one teaspoon or so. Within two days there will be no ants around.

"Diazinon" works best in Colorado, US. Those pesky ants won't stop, until you stop them. Use outside the perimeter of your house. Do Not Use Inside your home.
