I have a very good job near my home. Just promoted to be supervisor for only 4 months. Now I got another offer for higher position with 30% incresase of my revenue. BUT it's so far away from home. What shall I do???

I would never, ever move for a job. I realize that limits me in my career but there are no guarantees. You could move for this 'great' job... and in a week, be laid off. The new area (if it's a long move) could be an area that you don't like. If you like your current area... then stay. The cost (financial and emotional) of a move for a 6 month wait seems small to me.

good luck either way.

Live a little. I was in the same possition a few months ago and moved to a different country. View it as a fresh start, a way to see the world and meet new people. An adventure. I'm single and family free so the decision was easy, it may not be so for you. However, i think it is important to try new things - your company sounds cool so if you move and don't like it they may shift you back again. Good luck - dont stress, better to have options than none, right?

It completely depends on your priorities and your needs.

If you have any other personal commitments, then you need to think over. On the other hand, if no such commitment holds you bac, then its a good chance for you to grow in your career. At the same time, you need to see the place in terms of availability of basic needs, the culture in that place and how comfortable you are with fitting yourself with a new place like that.

All the best!

If you have an immediate family (husband, kids, etc.) then stay. If you have an extended family (parents, siblings, etc.) grow up and get out on your own. Take the pay and come back later at a higher level.

Stay put where you are - moving will get you into trouble - for sure.
