Creatine is actually found in your body already...it's even found in steak. Creatine has no ill affects. I took Creatine when I was 17, and continued until I was 25. It helps you recover quicker, because it basically helps your muscles rebound quicker. It is not a steroid by any means. It's sold over the counter in most nutrition stores.

Short term affects (not to sound gross) but it makes you have a little gas...nothing painful at all...just bad gas. Long term affects...none. I have not used it in over 5 years, and I have not had one problem, since the first day I started taking it. When I was on it, I gained nearly 23 pounds of muscle from working out & using it.

Take it with something like Grape Juice. We used to take a spoonful, put it in your mouth, and drink...rather than put it in the drink first...it tends to stick to the glass. But if you take it with just water, it takes longer to get in your system. If you take it with fructose...it enters your system quicker, and more effectively.

I do not know a whole lot about Cell Mass...if it's sold in a store like GNC, you will be fine with it...but Creatine is the better way to go.

Brett Boone credited Creatine with some success 4-5 years ago; however, there is some speculation that it can cause liver problems. As a former coach, I am dead against a high school athlete taking any bulk or strength increasing substance. Their bodies are growing still. A good diet and exercise will give him all the strength he needs.

It doesn't contain steroids, in fact it is found naturally in red meat. What it does is holds H2O content to the muscles and reduces muscle damage after workouts (this leads to more calories being spent on muscle production and less on rebuilding). I would suggest doing this: Using it for 2 months and then going off it for two months. Although nothing has proven it, there is evidence that it causes kidney problems on a long term scale if used constantly for a long time. Its not harmful at all if used properly and is not banned in any sport.
