Depends what type of girl she is. If she likes pretty things but isn't highly concerned with price or 'quality'...maybe jewelery from somewhere cheap like Klein's or Target or something. A night/day out at the movies with dinner, maybe like a picnic of fish and chips? If you're creative a handmade artwork or a poem? (put something else with this). Professional photos of you together? It has to be something more special than the average candle and bath set. Maybe an arvo at a spa, even better, make a booklet of things she can redeem, like a back rub, a date, a 'leave this argument at that' or such. Any of these help?Just make it personal and not average, so long as she has you, i think the old idea 'its the thought that counts' will come into play.

Under $20.00? I would buy her two very elegant champagne glasses which you can buy individually at any gift shop for around $5.00 each and a bottle of Killarwarra Dusk strawberry champagne. You can get that from Dan Murphys for around $8.00 a bottle. It's really nice and the hint of strawberries makes it very special. A lovely handmade card would be a nice touch as well and make sure you wrap it or present it beautifully.

Buy something that everytime she sees it, she'll remember you. Maybe things like watch, something she wears on her hair, or something she wear or uses everyday. Could be a cell phone.
Whatever it is, the present tell how much you values her, and the kind of person you are.
If your gift is a cheap one, better to spend more or buy a very nice looking impressive wrappers or boxes, with beautiful ribbons. It helps alot!
All the best to you, your gf should be proud to have a nice guy like you, who cares to buy things for her.

Maybe a VCD or DVD of a funny romantic comedy? Try The Wedding Singer? Adam Sandler sang the song 'I wanna grow old with you' in the show.

Easiest most inexpensive gift would be something you make... Compile a lot of random things and make a gift basket, colage, or something of the sort. Take old memories that you two have together, and complie them into one gift. Like old pictures, old concert stubs, etc...
Trust me, a woman would appreciate that kind of thing... It shows that you put thought and time into it...

any of the following:
1. a CD of "your song"
2. love coupons (you can make them yourself)
3. a sincere promise
4. a framed photo of you two together
5. fashion earrings (if she's into it)
6. a whole body massage (you'd be the masseuse)

If she wears a necklace, you should get her a personal charm. Something that means something between you two. They really are a cheap present and you can find them any where.
