Yesterday i tried starting my 1994 Crown Victoria LX and all i got was one click. it was told to me that it could be my solenoid, but i have no idea where it is on my car. can you tell me?

The solenoid is between the battery and the starter. Just follow the red wire from the battery and you should run into the solenoid. The problem could also be with the starter. I recommend getting a Chilton manual for your car, which will have detailed instructions for any repairs you would want to do.

Providing it has an external solenoid...

Follow the largest red wire from your battery, it will go to one post of the solenoid. The other post with the large wire goes to the starter.

One of the small terminals goes to ground, and the other goes to your ign switch start position.

You can jumper the big terminals to see if the starter will crank.

The small terminals should have 12v across them with key in the start position.

Check your battery first. The solenoid is usually part of the starter itself and are usually replaced together.

Sounds like a charging problem to me.
Try giving it a jump
Should have made more than one click if it was a solenoid.

I'm no expert but been there.
