My daughters boyfriend chased her for over a year too, i always said they were meant to be together. They are now and expecting their first child. You have only kissed why not just see how it goes for awhile. If he has waited for this long for you then he must be interested.

Just be a friend, and not a couple for a longer time, without going too close. Make sure that you are firm in not going further than the kiss and tell him that you just want to be friends.
You have to get to know as many friends as possible, go out in groups and not as a couple.
Then after some time, he will show his true colours! See how he maintains his interest if you tell him that sex can come only after marriage with your partner!

honey, two things can only happen
1. if he's just out there to "get it" probably he won't wait for a year for you. he is really interested.
2. there could be a chance that he's one of those guys that just are into chasing and if they "get it" then the thrill is over. he is still interested as long as he don't "get it.
in any case, he is interested in you for how long and if he is sincere, only you can know that.
life is a journey, don't get to a point in your life that you'd be thinking about "what might have beens". if you like him, ask him, if you don't then enjoy his chase. whatever the case is, enjoy life.....

You must like him, otherwise you wouldn't of bothered asking this question! There is only so long a man will chase you for, so if you do want him too, let him know..life is too short! Don't get too deep in your mind about what he wants, you need to talk to each other to establish that, no one on here is going to know.
Good luck!

My husband chased me for almost a year and a half before we got together. I thought he just wanted a piece of a**, but it turned out it was more.

He sounds keen to have chased you for so long. Why don't you go on a date with him and take it from there? Has he asked you out? Say yes and go!
