A question like this has already been asked. I say again: think how awful it is when a pigeon etc. defecates on the wing. Now imagine pig droppings, dropping from the sky! It doesn't bear thinking about. Good thing pigs DON'T fly.

Yes they can. There are two ways of doing this. One is to load them into a canon and fill it up with gun powder. Light the fuse and watch the pigs fly. The other way is to smoke some marijuana with them. You can all sit in a circle and smoke until you see them fly.

They already have. The first pig (a piglet) to fly flew on the 4th November 1909. Lord Brabazon of Tara, a pioneer aviator, took it up in a waste-paper basket tied his biplane. According to some sources this was to win a bet.

I expect they will. I saw Elvis flying on a pink elephant the other night. Offering him one of my beers didn't work as he was flying too fast to hear me yell at him.

Depends on the evelution of pigs...

But it has to survive humanity first, and that could turn out to be a bigger challenge than to evolve into an airborne species...

But theortically - could happen...

Depends on your definition of flying. Without the aid of engineering, probably not, or even if they evolved into something else, we would give that new species a new name. You could always try, and worse comes to worse, you get bacon!
