My nephew is basic training right now at Ft. Benning ,Ga..that is all he talked about for years even before he was old enough to join.
He is 18 years old and doing what he loves. He gets up at 4:30 in the morning and doesn't go to bed until late at night.
He is building character, not that he didn't have any before, but the Army will be a good experience for him. I am an Air Force Veteran and my only regret is that i didn't stay in longer.
Civilian life does suck .
If any young person is reading this, think about the Army or any other branch of the Service.
If it wasn't for the Air Force i wouldn't have my career that I have been working and supporting my family for the past 22 years.
I earned extra veteran's points on my entrance exam to the postal service ,thanks to the military.i have a life long career with good pay.
The best times of my life ,were in the military and the experiences that I obtained through the military and the people I met while in the service will never be forgotten or can never be replaced by anything or anyone.
I learned self respect, dignity and confidence through the military.
Thanks for asking.

Hell no,what makes you think this messed up world is even worth fighting for,we will help other people before we would even help our own,we send money to people overseas that are homeless and hungry and yet we have them on our own streets and do nothing, give me a break,as far as I am concerned this place isnt worth fighting for
