ok, i thought it might of been Arsenal with that run.. lets make it alittle more specific!! Who had the best start up until the end of september?

BTW, who ended that run of Arsenal's!? team invincible hey, not so invincible against the Red Devils!! Pretty poor against Man City too, not the side you used to be guys!! Living in the past!!

the question was best start --- not season

i think it was newcastle utd with 6 wins or so near the start of the premiership around 94/95

Arsenal going the entire season undefeated is a pretty good start.
Season 2003-04.

Following season was 8 wins and a draw in the first 9 games

man united has had a great start, but i think the best start has to go to portsmouth. coming up from the championship league and already proving themselves to all these other top teams, that's just great for them and their supporters. i think it'll boost their confidence and make them want to be better.
