Multi standard DVD Combi Recorders?

Question

I've searched the web and haven't come across a DVD combi recorder with a multi standard tuner, I need the unit to operate in the carribean on the american NTSC system. Anyone know of
any models that can do the job?

If the system in the Caribbean is compatible
with the American system then,you have no
problem and most the new DVDs can be
programed or switched to a different system.
