I do not know. I have worked in hospitals and always see them blame things on everyone else in the hospital. I would find mistakes they had made and ask them to change them being that I am a pharmacist. They would tell me all the time that their nurse did that. Well I told them I did not care because it had their signature on it. The nurses and the pharmacists were always catching all of their errors so they never got incident reports. Nurses and Pharmacists get written up which is expected. Pharmacists and Nurses police themselves and inspect themselves contently if someone in our field does something wrong we get them out. If a doctor does something wrong the protect that doctor. It is like doctors are a fraternity. They do not admit they do not know something. They even have a word to cover it. Idiopathic. If they do not know what is causing something they call it idiopathic. For example idiopathic hypertension. Is high blood pressure for an unknown reason. In pharmacy school we memorized that word as the doctor is an idiot and does not know what is causing it, so they are and idiot. They do not admit when they do not know what is wrong. If you have something wrong you better go to a teaching university where people are really curious and people will work on figuring out what it is because it is a challenge and they are not intimidated by a challenge it stimulates them.

The doctors used to tell me all the time they could not remember things. I would not take that for an excuse. They were the ones who went to medical school they could remember more than I can if they could do that. That is why they call them baby doctors. It is not because they work with babies.

Well you got more of a rant than you wanted I am sure. I feel so sorry for the nurses they get the worst of it every day.

They are taught in med school to act like that. They want people to perceive them as a god. They also are afraid of being sued.

They are the "elite" of the professionals.
At one time I point out to my doctor that he 'probably' was diagnosing me wrong, because I was not improving, his answer: who's the doctor you or me.
