Yes, and they did it in a very creative way. I was taught that whatever I said/did/wanted was wrong, and whatever my siblings said/did/wanted was right. It was so incredibly simple and clear!

Absolutely. I got many mixed signals growing up about the person I should be and the person I should not be. Like most young'uns, for a time in my life, living with them and watching their daily examples, I wondered what planet they lived on. But I have grown into the woman I am today because of my roots, and I realize they did the best they could. They taught me the Right way to love and there's nothing Wrong with that!
The wheel keeps turning and I have taught my sons. We are all honest citizens and good neighbors, but I'm sure there are times that they wonder what planet I live on.

of course but there came a point where i decided that in order to appreciate doing something right i had to do wrong and pay the consequences.that way i became a normal human being.

My parents as any responsible parents, taught me alot of things one of them is not to talk to strangers, I guess that is right, told me not to pick my nose, my mom told me not to kiss on the first date, dunno why but it used to work , she used to say play hard to get.
I guess my parents are pretty cool but they used to be a little bit conservative.
