Limewire is good for downloading music. I just don't suggest downloading any executable files (i.e. programs) through Limewire. MP3s are easy to find through Limewire, though. Other programs you might want to try are Ares and Bearshare.

Limewire is probably the WORST program of them all. I wish all of you Limewire users the best of luck with your computers in the future.

You could try using Google.

Type in
"index of" + mp3 + "Artist name"

Sometimes, but not always, this will give you unprotected file directories with music from the artist you're looking for. Just right click, hit 'save target as,' and name the file.

Limewire the best I've found,no real bs ,lots of obscure songs and genres I think the only caveat is no burning .

i use bearshare, it is a great software that u download and then u get all the MP3 that u want.
i had some problems downloading limewire, this is why i think bearshare is great.

Try soulseek, it a p2p thing so you don't have to pay. Obviously it is illegal to download mp3's from p2p sites so i wouldn't possibly use it myself............
