Any country in Eastern Europe - Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia.. But why would you want to go there?? You know, there's a reason why beautiful & interesting countries are also expensive, 'cause there's tonnes to do & see, unlike the cheap ones.

The Central European countries of Poland, Czech Republic, etc. are certainly cheaper countries than most of those in Western Europe but you can still find cheaper. Non-EU countries in Central and Eastern Europe like Croatia, Ukraine, Montenegro, are often cheaper still

Example (with price of beer from a typical pub):
Sweden: €5.20
UK: €4.10
Spain: €2.50
Slovenia: €2.20
Poland: €1.25
Ukraine: €0.60

This price example will be similar for many other goods. Plus countries like Croatia are often more safe and more beautiful than their western counterparts.

At the moment the cheapest country in Europe is Montenegro (one of the states of the former Yugoslavia). Bulgaria is a close second.

Balkan countries (but not Greece), such as Albania, Montenegro, Bulgaria, etc. An average salary for them is about 250-300 euros. The cost of life is high for them but cheap for the rest of Europe (and most Western countries).
