Yes and No. Most of the time, virginity is lost during intercourse, but then sometimes not too. It is possible for the girl to loose her virginity because the guy fingered her, I speak from experience. When i was 16 my bf and I were fooling around but I wasn't planning on going all the way, but unfortunetly he had other plans. So when I told him "No more" and looked down, I saw blood on my sheets and knew it was too late. Then when i had sex for the first time last year, I was 20, there was no blood or discomfort so I knew for sure that my virginity had been lost earlier. So I say be careful and watch what you two do.

Technically no, because men and women lose their virginity when they have sexual intercourse.
However, in certain cultures it is the presence of a hymen which determines a women's virginity, and if this is broken before the wedding night then the husband might claim that the woman was not a virgin, and this can have huge implications for the woman and her family.

That all depends on your beliefs...to me any thing sexual cause a loss in inoccence...but most people go by the book if the passage is torn open then you're no longer a virgin, be safe!

No. Only penetrative sex causes the loss of virginity. The loss of the hymen does NOT mean loss of virginity. Believe me, if the first time you had sex there was no pain, you were very lucky!
