The colour of our skin is based on the presence or absence of a dark pigment called Melanin .

Greater the amt of melanin darker the skin colour .

Albinism is a disease due to the deficiency of this pigment .

When we are over exposed to sun's radiation the melanin pigment present as a whole get accumulated at the surface of the skin for protection .Hence temporary blackening of skin takes place as black colour has the ability to reflect all radiations .

Those people who have more melanin in their skin cells are darker than others . Genetics has a part to play in it .

The color of someones skin is basically defined by their genetic makeup. Our skin pigmentation is caused by the dominant skin pigmentation gene. Darker skin is the dominant when two pigmentations mix, sometimes there is sort of a fusion of the darker and lighter skin tones and other times the darker dominant skin pigmentation wins over the lighter one.
I'm not an expert in this but that's what I learned in my physical anthro class. If you really want a more specific answer or a more detailed one I would suggest asking one of your teachers or maybe going to the library.

its due to a pigment called melanin in our skin...when the number of pigments are more and closer together then our skin appears darker...if we have less of melanin in our body then we appear fairer...sunlight causes melanin formation- thats the reason we tan or appear darker if we spend too much of time in the sun...

This question is written so poorly it is unintelligible. I am glad school just started back up. Please pay close attention and study hard, because you are barely literate.
