When I run Windows Disk Defragmenter this message appears :
Disk defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume (C:). Please run Chkdsk /f. and when I run Chkdsk /f it says: Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N).
I press Y > Enter and when the PC restarts nothing happens.
I got Win XP Pro and NTFS.
Help!
Or if there is any FREE defragment program please place a link to it.

LokiDinkoli check your task manager and see what is running in back ground. The best Disk Defragment software I come across is Ashampoo Disk Defragment. It runs in back ground without any trouble or affect your PC.
